Overview

Houston rain falls fast. Your gutters have to keep up.

When 3 inches of rain hits your roof in 20 minutes — common during Houston thunderstorms — undersized or clogged gutters overflow at the eaves and dump water against your foundation. The clay soil swells. The slab cracks. The siding rots. A $2,000 gutter system prevents a $30,000 foundation problem. Most Houston homes are still on builder-grade gutters that were never sized for our rainfall.

What We Do

Services we offer.

01

Seamless Aluminum

On-site rolled to your home's exact dimensions — no seams to leak. 5" K-style standard, 6" for steeper slopes or larger roofs. 25 colors.

02

Steel & Copper

Steel for industrial-grade durability, copper for high-end aesthetic. Much higher cost but 50+ year lifespan.

03

Leaf Guards

Micro-mesh covers (gutter tops) that keep leaves out while letting water in. Eliminates the twice-yearly cleaning hassle.

04

Downspout Extensions

Buried PVC extensions that move water 6–10 feet from the foundation. Critical in Houston's expansive clay soil.

05

Repair & Re-pitch

Reseal joints, re-anchor sagging sections, re-pitch for proper drainage. Often cheaper than full replacement.

06

Storm Damage

Gutter replacement after storm damage. Often paid by insurance — we document and write the scope. Insurance claims →

Questions

Asked & answered.

How much do new gutters cost in Houston?
Seamless aluminum: $7–$12 per linear foot installed. Steel: $11–$16/lf. Copper: $25–$40/lf. A typical Houston home (140 lf of gutters) runs $1,000–$1,700 for aluminum, $1,500–$2,200 for steel.
Are leaf guards worth it?
For Houston homes near oak trees: yes. For homes with no overhanging trees: probably not — you'd pay $800–$1,500 for a problem you don't really have. We're honest about whether you need them.
How often should gutters be cleaned?
Twice a year minimum: late fall (after leaf drop) and late spring (after pollen and seed pods). Add a third cleaning if you have heavy oak coverage. Our maintenance program includes gutter inspection and cleaning twice yearly. Maintenance plans →
Can gutters cause foundation problems?
Absolutely — failed gutters are a major cause of foundation issues in Houston. Water that overflows the gutters or drains right at the foundation saturates the clay soil unevenly, causing the slab to heave and crack. Gutter installation is one of the cheapest forms of foundation insurance you can buy.
Should I use 5" or 6" gutters?
5" is the residential standard and works for most homes. 6" handles 40% more water — worth the upgrade for steep roofs (8/12+ pitch), large roof areas, or homes that have had overflow issues. We recommend 6" for most full-replacement projects in Houston.
