Our Process

How we work. Estimate to warranty.

Eight steps from your first call to the warranty card in your hand. We say what we’ll do, do it, and tell you when it’s done. No surprises, no upsells, no ghosting.

The eight steps

Estimate to warranty. No mystery.

STEP01

Call or web request

You reach out by phone or via the quote form. Real human picks up — usually within 4 business hours, often within minutes. No call centers, no chatbots.

We ask a few questions: address, what's going on, urgency, insurance status. If it's an active leak we send a tarping crew before anything else.

What you get: Same-day or next-day site visit scheduled. No commitment yet.
STEP02

Site inspection

We come out within 24-48 hours of your initial call. The inspector walks the roof (drone-imaged for documentation), checks the attic for ventilation and moisture, walks the perimeter for adjacent damage, and asks about your project goals.

This visit is free. We don't charge for inspections, ever.

What you get: Drone imagery, written observations, and a same-day or next-day quote.
STEP03

Estimate & scope

You get a real estimate within 1-2 business days. Line-item scope, materials, labor, warranty terms, timeline. Nothing buried, nothing optional that should be required, nothing required that should be optional.

If you have an insurance claim, we coordinate with your adjuster and write a parallel scope.

What you get: Detailed PDF quote, sample materials if requested, and a financing pre-qual link if useful.
STEP04

Decision & contract

You decide on your timeline. No high-pressure sales tactics, no "sign today" discounts that disappear tomorrow. We answer questions for as long as it takes.

Once you're ready, we send a contract: scope, price, timeline, payment schedule, warranty terms.

What you get: Plain-English contract. Proof of insurance attached.
STEP05

Permits & HOA

We pull permits with the right jurisdiction (City of Houston, Bellaire, Pearland, Galveston County — depends on your address). HOA architectural review packets submitted in parallel where applicable.

Most permits and HOA approvals are 1-2 weeks. We pre-clear standard shingle samples for major HOAs to minimize delays.

What you get: Permit copies and HOA approval emailed to you before crew arrives.
STEP06

Project execution

The crew shows up on the scheduled date. Project manager (one PM, dedicated to your project) arrives ahead of the crew to confirm scope and walk you through what to expect.

Daily texted updates while we're on-site. We tell you what got done, what's next, and any issues found during tear-off (rotted decking, ventilation imbalance, hidden damage).

What you get: Daily progress updates. Direct line to the PM if questions come up.
STEP07

Final walkthrough

Before final payment, the project manager walks the work with you. We point out everything that was done, demonstrate the warranty mechanics, leave the warranty card in your hand, and answer any final questions.

If anything isn't right, we fix it before we ask for the final check. Period.

What you get: Punch list resolved on-site. Warranty card and material info packet.
STEP08

Warranty & relationship

We don't ghost. If anything comes up under warranty in year 1, year 5, or year 12, you call the same number that worked the first time. Same crew, same office, same family.

Most of our work comes from referrals — that only happens if homeowners trust us after the project, not just during it.

What you get: Warranty support, annual maintenance reminders, priority dispatch for warranty calls.
What we won't do

Some things we just don't do.

Door-knock after a storm. Storm-chaser playbook. We don't do it. You called us — we don't cold-knock you.

Offer to "waive your deductible." That's insurance fraud. Don't trust any contractor who suggests it.

Pressure you with "sign today" discounts. If a quote is good today it's good in two weeks. Take the time you need.

Ask for full payment up front. Standard payment schedule: small deposit on contract signing, progress payment at material delivery, final payment after walkthrough.

Disappear after the storm cycle. We've been here and we'll be here in 2030. The warranty matters in year 12, not just year 1.
